From defective dryer, to healed knees

…with a physical result, even!

There are many ways to hurt….

First, our dryer was hurt and was making a huge racket… but then we got out a repairman to fix it – and what a joy it was afterwards, when it was working again and was practically silent.

But the repairman had also been hurting quite a bit – just in a different way… arthritis in his knees, and a thumb with no strength and with pain… so we “happened” on the topic of Jesus…. He had a bit of a problem with it, because he was a trained physicist – meaning he needed evidence for things. And physical evidence for the spiritual world is not so easy to come by. At least not in our own power.

– BUT, it’s a good thing that Jesus is as amazing as He is. You see, our dear repairman was PHYSICALLY healed of his pain – to his GREAT surprise… because this was a culmination of the physical with the spiritual. As he said afterwards… “I think I have some things to think about when I get home”.

So, REMEMBER that Jesus Christ is the one who turns both psychological and physical pain into joy and freedom… IF you let him.
